Page 3 of 4 Fellow servants: Greetings in Jesus Name! Excitement is growing in many ministries as we anticipate the year 2006. The indication seems clear that the Holy Spirit is at work. In August the control of the church of God in Canada was formally turned over to the Holy Spirit. “The world will hunger for Jesus in the same measure as the church hungers for the Holy Spirit”. Rev. Brian Warren spoke into the Church of God at the Assembly in a special way. We enclose his letter with high recommend. In keeping with this information, I am asking for every minister and church congregation to embrace this prayer initiative. We ask everyone to in some way observe the first Friday of each month in 2006 as a time of united prayer effort across Canada. This prayer ultimately is for the reaping of the 2006 harvest. The following is a condensed outline of the way this could look: 1. There can be prayer sessions at your local church or in homes every 1st Friday night of the month. 2. We wish to develop a communication base for emailing a monthly prayer letter with request and praises. “Think of it” people all across Canada praying for the same thing. Please send us an email address to connect with us. 3. Canada in prayer organization will partner in these efforts with their country wide network. 4. Various initiatives will be instituted across the nation as we join together. Some ideas would be district prayer sessions, seminars and interdenominational sessions. “Let the Holy Spirit Inspire You” to obey to the command of Mathew 9:38 The enclosed poster shows that Humberlea COG is hosting such an event on January 6, 2006, anyone in the GTA is very welcome to attend. We trust that other churches throughout Canada will take the initiative on the 1st Friday of each month in 2006 to partner in prayer.
