Praise God!

We at CIP are so excited about all that God is doing in every region across our nation of Canada.  We received an exciting praise report and wanted to pass it along to all of you who have been so faithful in standing in the gap for our country.  We pray that it will help to boost your faith in God and encourage you to keep pressing forward to see His kingdom come and His will be done in your region and from coast to coast to coast!

For the past few months a congregation in Sussex, New Brunswick has been focusing on prayer. They recently started a once a month evening service called the Upper Room, where their small congregation gathers to worship God.   Recently, there was an 8 year-old boy who was rushed to the hospital due to a blood infection. The pain was severe, and it caused his leg to turn the color purple. The doctors were saying that the only option was amputation. That night at the prayer meeting, the message preached was on Acts 12:5, and the church prayed earnestly for “Peter” to be freed from prison. The pastor exhorted the people that it was the little boy who needed their earnest prayers now, and so they cried out on his behalf.  The NEXT day, the results were astounding; the little boy was completely healed, walking around, and ready to leave the hospital! Doctors were amazed. A miracle took place, and God received all the glory!

We want to encourage you today that no matter how many people show up to pray, or how large or small your congregation or prayer group is, don’t give up.  God’s eye searches the whole earth looking for those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. The prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective! (James 5:16)  Keep praying and keep believing – with God all things are possible!
