August 2009: From the River

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

Have I got some great news to share with you!  But first, a great big “THANK YOU” to all of you who were praying for Pastor Brian, myself and the team while we were ministering in Pangnirtung, Nunavut. God showed Himself strong on our behalf!

Pangnirtung, or ‘Pang’ for short as the locals call it, is absolutely gorgeous. It is located along a fiord with mountains all around it. The community has approx 1500 people who are the most gentle and compassionate people you could ever meet. But I have one warning for you if you are planning on making the trip up north, watch out for the mosquitoes they are HUGE! God also blessed the team with 5 star accommodations; a family in Pang gave up their house for us for the week. (Note: The “Hotel” in Pang can cost you up to $250/night!)

June 2009: From the River

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

From the RiverI thank God for all of you who are praying for our great nation of Canada. I find that the more I connect with intercessors from across the country, the more I realize that the enemy does not want us to pray, PERIOD. He seems to go to any extreme to keep us from meeting together, stepping out in faith and walking in unity. I guess it’s because he knows that when we do, God commands His blessing. (Psalm 133) Let me ask you this question, “Do you really know that when you (as a believer) dwell together in unity (brotherly love with another) that God has no other choice by to let His blessings flow? My prayer is that the whole church in Canada will walk in this truth, crossing all age categories, denominational lines and gender divisions. When we do, we will see many people come to Christ. We will see the dreams and visions God’s given us for our lives come to pass, and YES we will see revival in Canada!

Father, help me to listen more and do what you are requiring of me.

Canada at a Glance

God is continuing to pour out His Spirit upon an urban mission in Toronto.   13 street men requested bibles! A Turkish Muslim, a Jewish man and a young man from Columbia gave their lives to the Lord.  A girl was healed of pink eye, and a woman reported her cancer is gone after receiving prayer!  God will deliver us when we call upon His name!
